Remote Logistics Operations Specialist Shipping, Distribution & Inventory Coordination (Training Provided) Company: Soul Search Records 100% Remote Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours Compensation: Based on experience and skill level About the Role Soul Search Records is hiring a Remote Logistics Operations Specialist to support merchandise shipping, physical music distribution (vinyl, CDs, promo materials), and inventory coordination. This is a flexible daytime position, Monday through Friday, ideal for someone seeking consistent weekday hours while working remotely. No prior logistics or music industry experience is required. Paid training is provided. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. What You’ll Do Shipment Monitoring & Coordination • Track outgoing and incoming merchandise shipments • Monitor delivery timelines for vinyl, CDs, apparel, and promotional materials • Identify potential shipping delays or issues • Provide updates to internal teams Vendor & Carrier Communication • Communicate with manufacturers, printers, fulfillment centers, and shipping carriers • Confirm pickups and delivery timelines • Assist with tracking numbers and shipment documentation • Serve as a professional point of contact for logistics partners Inventory Support • Monitor stock levels and restock schedules • Maintain organized inventory tracking logs • Coordinate between production and fulfillment partners Order & Issue Resolution • Support resolution of delayed shipments or fulfillment discrepancies • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to minimize disruptions • Escalate time-sensitive issues appropriately Documentation & Reporting • Update shipment status and internal tracking systems • Maintain accurate digital records • Provide end-of-day or weekly status updates Minimum Qualifications (Open to Everyone) We welcome applicants with: • No degree required • No prior logistics experience required • Any educational background (including none) • Transferable experience from retail, warehouse, customer service, administration, gig work, hospitality, or freelance work • Basic computer and internet skills • Strong reliability and willingness to learn If you are organized, dependable, and open to training, you are encouraged to apply.
