Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pet King Brands is a successful woman-owned company specializing in pet remedy-oriented consumer brands for over 25 years. They are seeking a Director of Strategic Marketing to lead marketing initiatives, oversee market analysis, and collaborate with sales teams to enhance brand growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and relaunch of the brand strategy
- Affiliate Program ownership & expansion
- Executive Partnership and Visibility, this role will support the CRO and CEO on all Marketing aspects
- Create a multi-year integrated marketing and communications plan that unifies all tactics, including corporate and brand messaging, advertising, digital/social media, promotions, PR, and cause marketing
- Develop strategies to capitalize on omni-channel growth while reducing channel friction
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide tools and materials that support sales objectives
- Establish a process for evaluating new products aligned with brand strategy and consumer trends
- Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking
- Recommend and manage a multi-year budget to execute the brand and marketing plans
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure plan execution within budget
- Conduct market research to identify the latest marketing technologies, tools, trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to update strategies and leverage them to enhance PKB Inc.'s marketing efforts
Skills
- 10+ years of marketing experience with senior leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated success scaling marketing in growth-stage companies
- Proficiency in Market Planning and Strategic Planning to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies
- Strong ability in Market Analysis and Market Research to generate actionable insights and identify growth opportunities
- Experience in Sales and collaboration with sales teams to align marketing activities with business development objectives
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze ROI, and drive data-informed decision-making
- Experience with 501(c) is a plus
- Experience in the pet care, veterinary, or consumer health industry is a plus
- MBA preferred
