They are seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 enterprise IT and enhance mission partner interoperability across the Pacific region.
Responsibilities
- Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for MPE (mission partner environment) Architecture and System Design Engineering
- Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions
- Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability
- Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges
- Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership
Skills
- 8 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required: Yes
- Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience; degree not explicitly required by the external labor category
- BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoD/enterprise IT environment
- Required Technical Skills: tactical data links; joint/coalition interoperability; MPE network integration; operational coordination; technical analysis; mission partner communications
- Security Clearance Level: Final Secret
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams
- Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments
- Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders
- Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking
