The Outbound Sales Development Representative (OSDR) will find and screen potential customers, generate sales leads, and support sales executives by setting up meetings and showcasing the company's offerings.
Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new sales leads and opportunities by utilizing Hubspot, cold calls, email, and social media
- Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects and key decision-makers to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Work closely with Marketing on outbound warm calling to generate MQAs for ABM and other programs
- Drive attendance for webinars and set meetings for conferences/tradeshows
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the SDR Manager
- Develop an understanding of the challenges and needs within the first responder industry
- Clearly articulate the value of our product and how PSTrax can address the specific needs of a department/customer
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions in our CRM system
- Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, improve processes, and drive data-driven decisions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Prefer at least one year of experience as a Sales Development Representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas and exceeding lead targets
- Strong understanding of SaaS-based products
- Proficiency with Hubspot or other CRM software
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
- Strong time-management skills
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Experience as a first responder a plus
