Job Title: Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dedicated remote team. This role is pivotal in helping maintain the financial integrity of our organization, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional services to our clients from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all recorded transactions. Generate and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, offering insights and recommendations based on financial data. Collaborate with HR to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. Ensure adherence to tax regulations at all levels and aid in the preparation of tax-related documents. Manage expense reports, oversee petty cash, and make certain that all expenditures remain within budget limits. Utilize accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, to maintain financial records and transactions. Required Skills Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper or in a comparable role. Strong grasp of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Keen attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field is essential. Preferred qualifications include coursework in accounting or finance, and an Associates degree in Accounting or a related field.
