They are seeking a Pharmacy / Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for processing authorization requests and providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Receiving authorization requests via fax from providers
- Ensure all required information is obtained to process requests efficiently
- Resolve issues
- Demonstrate a client focused, above and beyond approach
Skills
- Post secondary diploma or degree in Health, Medical Administration, Office Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A genuine desire to help people — this is non negotiable
- Strong communication skills — clear, concise, and friendly
- A “whatever it takes” attitude and comfort with new challenges every day
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to multitask across multiple systems
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage both routine and challenging calls or cases
- Accuracy and efficiency while working under time constraints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Mature, professional judgment and sound decision making
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
