[Remote] Remote Finance Associate (Fund Accounting)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Remote Finance Associate (Fund Accounting) for their client, a fully remote role managing accounting, reporting, and investor operations across hedge, venture, and private equity funds. The role involves preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and supporting valuation, structuring, and investor relations, making it ideal for professionals with fund accounting experience and an interest in crypto and digital assets. Responsibilities • Prepare financial statements for hedge, private equity, and hybrid funds, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. • Manage investor onboarding, documentation, and KYC/AML verification while addressing investor inquiries. • Coordinate audits, valuations, and tax reporting, including financial statements and partner K-1s. • Maintain portfolio models and support AUM, return, and exposure analysis across traditional and digital assets. • Assist the CFO with fund documentation and ensure compliance with SEC and CIMA regulations. Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required • CPA required • 4-8 years in hedge fund, fund administration, or private equity accounting • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills • Experience in fund accounting software (Investran, Geneva, or Advent) • Experience with automation tools • Strong understanding of GAAP • Understanding of fund structures • Understanding of valuation methods • Understanding of investor reporting • Analytical skills • Tech-savvy accounting professional • Strong communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment • Preferred experience in digital asset or crypto funds Company Overview • Atlantic Group, founded in 2006, is an industry leader in executive and professional search & staffing.
