The Senior Consultant role focuses on providing innovative solutions in the Power & Utilities sector, helping clients navigate regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency
- Drive risk and controls project teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Skills
- A bachelor's or master's degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities particularly Work Management, Asset Management and/or Utility accounting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- A valid passport is required
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline
- Relevant certifications are a plus. PMP, Six Sigma, CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT certification is desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager
