Remote Senior Accountant

Growing CPA firm specializing in clients in the dental industry needs Remote Senior Accountant to join the team. Job Type: • Must have CPA firm experience Full time, W2 Location: REMOTE within the US Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 DOE Responsibilities: • Support the day-to-day accounting activities of a book of 30 to 40 clients, depending on size, and "own" the client relationship • Job breakdown: Accounting 40%, Advisory Services 30%; Tax Prep 25%; Bookkeeping 5% • Skilled at Advisory; help clients to understand their financials so they can make well-informed financial decisions • Review transactional accounting work; G/L, financial statements, and reconciliations • Field client questions; engage with clients via email, Zoom, or phone • Heavy account analysis/review and financial preparation • Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements • Provide financials to tax dept; facilitate compliance process as needed Nice to haves: • Prior experience working with clients in the dental or healthcare industry Qualifications • CPA or actively pursuing CPA, preferred • At least 5 years of accounting experience in a CPA firm • Strong tax planning/prep skills • Comfortable and happy in a client-facing role • Detail-oriented and organized • Team player, hands-on, self-driven, and problem-solver • Experience working in a remote environment Technology • QBO, some QBD; strong proficiency is a must • Ultra Tax, nice to have Benefits • Nice firm culture; thriving business • Health insurance with employer contribution • 401k with profit sharing • Life insurance • Short and Long Term Disability Plans • Generous PTO 977530 Apply tot his job
