[Remote] Senior Accountant / Accounting Operations Analyst - Mostly Remote (but must be Nashville based!) - $70-95k

They are hiring multiple Senior Accountant / Accounting Operations Analysts to manage a portfolio of dynamic clients, produce financial reports, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities • Own a portfolio of 10+ dynamic clients, serving as their go-to accounting expert • Produce high-quality books, financials, and month-end reporting • Build scalable, tech-driven accounting workflows using cutting-edge internal software • Advise founders and finance leaders on best practices and process improvements • Lead escalations and solve complex challenges with autonomy and judgment • Mentor junior team members and strengthen team performance • Influence product and automation enhancements with frontline feedback Skills • 3-5+ years in accounting, finance, consulting, or client-service roles • Polished communicator with strong client presence • Thrives in a high-volume, fast-moving environment • Tech-savvy across cloud accounting tools and web-based platforms • Analytical, curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented • CPA or public accounting experience is a plus-not a must Benefits • Unlimited PTO • Fully paid maternity and paternity leave • 100% employer-paid healthcare • 401(k) Company Overview • Vaco is the Talent Solutions division of Highspring, a leading global professional services organization.
