Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jacob Media is a social-first storytelling studio that creates impactful narratives for leading brands. They are seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to oversee the social media strategy and execution for a major hospitality brand, including planning, publishing, and performance optimization across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- You run the feed for one of the world's largest hospitality brands
- Channel strategy, monthly content calendars, publishing, performance reads, and the constant optimisation that keeps a premium brand alive and relevant across up to 50 assets a month and six platforms
- You sit at the centre of the AOR: planning the calendar with creative, briefing production, publishing across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and a private Facebook community, watching performance daily, and bringing all of it back into the next month's plan
- You are the person in the room who knows what the feed needs this week and what the platforms are rewarding this month
- This is also a client-facing position
- You will present the calendar, walk the client through what is shipping and why, and live inside their approval workflows
- Get fluent in the brand system for your position and take ownership of the calendar
- Ship your first full months of always-on publishing across all six platforms
- Build the daily working rhythm with creative, community, and analytics
- Earn your place in the client room: calendar presentations, approvals, and the weekly conversation
- The social calendar and channel strategy for your brand coverage, from planning to live
- Day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and in-the-moment decisions on what goes out and when
- Briefing creative against the calendar, then quarterbacking the work from concept to publish-ready
- Turning brand and cultural moments into on-brand content quickly, in partnership with creative
- Performance: reading the data with the Analytics Lead and adjusting the approach so the feed keeps getting sharper
- Presenting the calendar and the work to the client, and managing content through their approval workflows
Skills
- 6+ years managing social for brands, including senior ownership of a premium global account
- Direct experience running always-on social at this calibre and scale. Volume does not scare you and craft does not slip when you move fast
- Deep, current fluency across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging formats, and the judgment to know which moments to act on
- A calendar-and-craft brain: equally strong on planning and on the daily reality of publishing
- Client-facing polish. You can hold the room with senior brand stakeholders
- Comfort in enterprise social management and analytics platforms
- Experience managing across regions and time zones (Asia, Europe, Middle East, Americas)
- Familiarity with social listening and community tooling at enterprise scale
- A point of view on what's next in social, not just what's working now
