They are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Sec-Ops Detection Engine team, responsible for developing and scaling critical components of a new product offering using Golang.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize continuous learning of our design architecture, industry standards, and testing methods as your primary responsibility
- Drive software development utilizing Golang to build and scale critical components of our new product offering
- Produce high-quality technical documentation including architectural proposals, system diagrams, and user guides
- Engineer comprehensive test suites to ensure the reliability and performance of our evolving detection engine
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 1+ year of professional experience developing with Golang in a production environment
- 1+ year of AWS experience with a proven track record of shipping production-grade applications
- Foundational familiarity with data warehousing concepts and file formats such as Parquet or Iceberg
- Significant open-source contributions to one or more Golang projects
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, preferably demonstrated through open-source examples
- Active participation in advanced coding challenges such as Project Euler
