Job Overview Join a prestigious publicly traded company with a global footprint as a Senior Accountant. This position offers a flexible working arrangement with 4 days of remote work, complemented by 1 day in the office each week. As a key member of the finance team, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership, gaining invaluable insights into high-level financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities Execute essential accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, balance sheet preparations, and overseeing the month-end closing process. Prepare financial statements and relevant supporting data for both internal and external reporting purposes. Partner with subsidiaries, particularly in Latin America, to facilitate financial adjustments and drive process enhancements, ensuring robust internal controls. Contribute to SEC filings, including 10Q and 10K reports, and provide necessary documentation to support compliance initiatives. Analyze financial data related to revenue, expenses, and performance metrics, presenting key insights to leadership. Draft internal and external financial communications to effectively convey critical information. Collaborate with internal and external auditors throughout the audit process. Required Skills Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field. Experience in public accounting or within publicly traded organizations is highly regarded. Familiarity with SEC reporting (10Q and 10K) is advantageous, though not mandatory. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to facilitate communication with LATAM subsidiaries. Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is desirable. Exposure to business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, is a plus (training will be provided). Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline. Previous experience in public accounting or with publicly traded companies is a significant asset. Familiarity with SEC reporting (10Q and 10K) is a beneficial qualification.
