Solomon Page is a specialty niche provider of staffing and executive search solutions, and they are seeking an experienced Sr. Content Strategist for a freelance, part-time opportunity. The role focuses on executing content strategies and frameworks to enhance digital experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve discoverability and effectiveness of content systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze digital ecosystems and customer journeys to identify opportunities for connected and discovery-driven experiences
- Create scalable content structures including taxonomy, metadata frameworks, information architecture (IA), and content models
- Develop content strategies that strengthen discoverability across search engines, AI-powered experiences, and emerging interfaces
- Build foundational systems that support AI-driven personalization, content reuse, and automation initiatives
- Transform complex business requirements and inputs into clear strategies, frameworks, and client-ready deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Search, UX/XD, Product, Engineering, and agency partners to drive alignment and execution
- Support content ecosystem planning and implementation through hands-on execution and strategic thinking
- Maintain a high standard of quality across documentation, recommendations, and deliverables
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Digital Strategy, Information Architecture, UX Content Strategy, or related disciplines
- Strong hands-on experience building content systems and scalable digital ecosystems
- Expertise in taxonomy, metadata structures, and information architecture (required)
- Proven experience translating complex inputs into actionable strategic recommendations
- Experience collaborating with UX/XD, Search, Product, and Engineering teams
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating both short- and long-form strategic deliverables
- Proficiency with Figma and modern collaboration tools such as Miro or similar platforms
- Background working in agency, consulting, or cross-functional environments preferred
- Experience within CPG, retail, hospitality, entertainment, or related industries is a plus
