Curtiss-Wright Corporation is experiencing growth in its Nuclear Division and is seeking a Sr Director of Sales and Marketing for their Instrumentation and Control business. The role involves leading global sales efforts, driving revenue growth, and managing a team of sales professionals within the nuclear market.
Responsibilities
- Defines, implements, and evolves the sales strategy for a $200M business unit focused on I&C
- Owns revenue targets, strategic account growth, and capture of high-value, multi-year contracts. Develops sales forecasts and provides input into corporate revenue planning, and market-entry decisions. Provides insight to guide market segmentation, pricing strategy, and go-to-market initiatives
- Prepares and manages the annual budget and forecast updates. Coordinates monthly input to the forecasting process. Provides monthly management reports containing details of sales activities including major quotations, new leads, top sales prospects, order intake, market trends/insights and visit plans
- Builds and sustains trusted advisor relationships with C-Suite, engineering, program and procurement executives across customer accounts ensuring long-term partnerships. Leads major pursuits and high-complexity capture efforts, including influencing requirements, shaping bids, and negotiating Division-wide agreements
- Manages marketing communications and attends trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences. Drives pipeline growth through proactive customer engagement, demand generation and bid strategy alignment. Maintains a deep understanding of the complete range of products in terms of functionality, pricing, market position, and competitiveness
- Leads and develops a team of sales professionals. Provides coaching, performance feedback, and career development. Ensures that Sales Managers are equipped to respond to customer requests in terms of product literature, presentations, demonstration equipment, etc. Produces annual travel and sales plans, provides regular updates, and approves expense reports. Conducts monthly sales meetings and appraisals for the Sales team
- Provides Voice of Customer detail that will shape the development of new products and services
- Drives continuous improvement in tools used by the team (e.g. account plans, KPIs, CRM)
