We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Staff Accountant to join our finance team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and file timely accounting statements to document and communicate company performance Reconcile, research variances, and analyze accounts, including intercompany reconciliations and month-end close Record general ledger entries to accurately reflect the current position of the organization in compliance with GAAP Process customer refunds as necessary and drive continuous improvement activities across the finance and accounting function Participate in activities that ensure the success of the organization and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory mandates Requirements: 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with QuickBooks Prior experience in manufacturing, e-commerce, and/or product inventory HNI Corporation, our parent company, is a leading manufacturer of workplace furnishings and building products, committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
