[Remote] Task Lead/Scrum Master

As a Task Lead/Scrum Master, you will guide agile teams, facilitate collaboration, and ensure adherence to Agile principles to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities • Leads daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint planning sessions to ensure team alignment and progress • Facilitates sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to optimize team performance • Guides the team in Agile methodologies, promoting self-organization and continuous improvement • Collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations • Tracks and reports on team progress using Azure DevOps and other relevant tools • Fosters effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders • Champions DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is integrated into the development lifecycle • Act as Task Lead for assigned workstreams under the TO • Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, QA, cyber, and operations • Track progress against milestones, deliverables, and dependencies • Support execution of program management rhythms and reporting • Ensure alignment between product priorities and delivery capacity • Drives continuous improvement initiatives based on data and feedback • Manages backlog and flow management to streamline the development process • Creates Metric and presents Reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement • Applies project management principles to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget • Manages Stakeholder Management by communicating project status, risks, and dependencies • Exhibits Team Leadership by motivating team members and fostering a collaborative environment Skills • Possessing an active DOD Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master • 5 years experience of leading a team • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager • Scrum Master certification (CSM, or SAFe) • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile project management tools • Experience in implementing and scaling Agile methodologies within an organization • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and other Agile methodologies • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate effective meetings • Proficiency in backlog and flow management • Ability to create and interpret Metrics • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices • Strong task leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor team members • Excellent stakeholder management skills • Solid understanding of project management principles Benefits • Medical/Dental/Vision • FSA (Flexible Spending Account) • HSA (Health Savings Account) • Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Voluntary Short- and Long-Term Disability • Additional Supplemental Medical Benefits • Critical Care, Hospital Indemnity, Legal Plan, Pet Insurance, Accident • 401K • Legal Assistance • Financial Wellness • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Federal Holidays • Education Reimbursement • LinkedIn Learning • Employee Referral Program Company Overview • Sierra7 is a premier technology solutions and business process outsourcing firm serving the needs of government and commercial clients.
