[Remote] Tax Associate

The Tax Associate will prepare tax returns and projections for high-net-worth clients, collaborating with wealth management teams and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Responsibilities Prepare tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts and businesses Create quarterly estimates and projections Responsible for timely and accurate response to tax questions, estimates, projections, and analysis with both tax and wealth management clients Coordinate with tax support staff to ensure timely workflow practices and data integrity Work with tax staff to respond to tax notices and initial preparation of correspondence Stays up to date on tax law and any changes All other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Working knowledge of tax preparation, preferably 1-3+ years of experience working in public accounting Obtained or plan to obtain CPA or EA, a plus Experience with UltraTax and Sureprep plus Highly organized and tax-oriented Ability to handle a large volume of activities at one time Ability to communicate concepts to clients and advisors in concise and understandable fashion Must be detail-oriented and have excellent time-management skills Benefits Company Paid Basic Life & AD&D Insurance Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Supplemental Life & AD&D Short-Term Disability; Accident; Critical Illness; and Hospital Indemnity Insurance Three medical plans offerings including two High Deductible Health Plans and a Traditional Co-Pay medical plan.
