[Remote] Tax Manager - Private Client Group

The role involves managing client relationships and providing tax planning and compliance services, while also mentoring staff and ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities • Interact closely with clients and advisors to provide innovative tax planning, consulting and compliance services in a timely and effective manner • Manage and drive the success of multiple engagements in all facets of individual taxation • Provide primary and secondary review of complex tax returns for individual and fiduciary clients • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines and proactively sharing tax saving strategies • Work closely with partners and staff on client management, professional development and business development activities • Manage, develop, train and mentor staff including performance and engagement reviews Skills • CPA or EA certification required with 6+ years tax experience • Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines • Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills • Ability to attract and develop profitable, sustainable client relationships Company Overview • Wolf & Company is an accounting company specializing in audit, tax, IT audit, and consulting services.
