The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing and filing accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, providing tax advice, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure during tax season. If you are interested in a career change and you have no experience we are willing to train. ## Responsibilities - Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses - Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation, to determine appropriate tax deductions and credits - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally - Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in tax filings - Utilize financial software and tools to facilitate efficient tax preparation processes ## Requirements - Proficiency in accounting principles, financial concepts, and tax laws - Experience with tax preparation software such as Drake or similar platforms - Strong knowledge of corporate accounting practices - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly - Previous experience in tax preparation or related field is preferred but not required - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, opportunities for professional growth, and a dynamic work environment where your expertise will be valued.
