They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale, technically complex data center projects, overseeing all aspects of project delivery while ensuring predictable outcomes in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage mission‑critical construction projects valued between $25M and $100M from preconstruction through completion
- Maintain responsibility for overall project performance, including schedule, budget, safety, and quality
- Lead key project meetings, including OAC, progress meetings, and monthly project reviews
- Participate in project budgeting and develop monthly cost and margin forecasts
- Monitor project costs, identify variances, and proactively address financial risks
- Manage owner and subcontractor pay applications and administer change management processes
- Communicate clearly and consistently with owners, subcontractors, design teams, vendors, and field leadership
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material samples to ensure compliance
- Build and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams and organizational levels
- Provide clear direction, decisive problem‑solving, and consistent communication across large project teams
- Mentor and manage Assistant Project Managers to support their development
- Partner closely with the Superintendent to align field and project management priorities
Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction
- At least 3+ years managing hyperscale and/or colocation data center projects
- Proven track record delivering complex projects between $25M and $100M
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Strong understanding of construction phases, MEP systems, project sequencing, and mission‑critical requirements
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and make effective decisions in fast‑paced environments
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly to project sites across the United States
- Ability to temporarily relocate to project sites when project needs require
- Comfortable working in a national delivery model with multi‑region project teams
