Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary is seeking a Volunteer Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing Committee. This opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys social media, photography, videography, graphic design, and storytelling and has a passion for animal welfare.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
- Capture photos and videos of sanctuary animals, volunteers, events, and behind-the-scenes activities
- Edit photos and videos for social media posts, stories, and reels
- Design occasional graphics and promotional materials using Canva
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content
- Collaborate with the Marketing Committee on content ideas and campaigns
Skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Experience with social media scheduling software or a willingness to learn
- Reliable and able to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Passion for animals, wildlife, conservation, and nonprofit work
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar content creation tools
- Students or individuals with backgrounds in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or related fields are encouraged to apply
