Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business and technical requirements
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and support
Skills
- Experience working with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), including application deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with WebSphere Liberty and traditional WebSphere environments, including server administration and performance tuning
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with application frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React)
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with software testing and debugging
- Proficiency with support tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
