This role is vital in overseeing the customer billing process, facilitating accurate and timely payments for goods and services, and assisting with monthly closing procedures and various accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities • Process daily invoices for both Fresh and Frozen Seafood orders. • Submit invoices through customer portals with precision and efficiency. • Reconcile purchase orders (POs) to vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy regarding received goods and payment amounts, while addressing any discrepancies. • Assist sales management by analyzing invoiced gross margin reports. • Oversee the customer credit and billback processes. • Support the Bookkeeper by organizing and entering accounts payable invoices as necessary. • Ensure discretionary invoices receive approval from department managers. • Maintain precise vendor records and documentation. • Aid in the reconciliation of storage bills against inventory prior to payment processing. • Participate in special projects as required. • Process customer sales orders for billing once shipping documents are available. • Assist with accounting month-end close processes as needed.
