Job Description
The position:
- Responsible for providing instructional and program development expertise to support the utilization of technology in the learning environment.
- Collaborates with staff and faculty to plan learning experiences in the classroom utilizing technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer applicants with:
- Experience developing interactive e-learning activities and curriculum that provide practical learning application and enhance retention.
- Working with subject matter experts, assessing content, and identifying gaps
- Online teaching experience
- Course development experience
- Familiarity with Canvas learning management system
- Familiarity with Quality Matters course design standards
- Experience and skill in using a variety of instructional design authoring tools (Articulate/Storyline, Camtasia, Kahoot, Adobe products, etc.)
Expert level knowledge should be in at least three of the following areas:
- Quality assurance (QA) testing of courses prior to their release
- Accessibility/UDL/ADA
- OER
- Video/Media
