Job Summary: This individual is employed by the University and reports directly to the Simulation Center Director. The Clinical Simulation Educator plays a vital role in supporting the development, implementation and facilitation of simulation-based learning experiences. The responsibilities of the Clinical Simulation Educator encompasses a range of tasks including: The Educator will work with the Simulation Center Director and Coordinator to ensure that the planned curriculum simulation experiences are aligned with the overall mission of the College and the standards of the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Clinical Simulation Educator will serve as a specialist in simulation-based education.

Essential Functions External Role

Serve as a communication link in conjunction with the Simulation Center Director between the SON, College, University, and other external constituents including but not limited to employers, alumni, donors, clinical partners, and professional associations.

Other Duties

Other responsibilities as determined by the Simulation Center Director, Simulation Coordinator, SON Chair, or Dean.

Qualifications/Skills Terms of Service

The Clinical Simulation Educator is a 12-Month Faculty Role. This is a Boston-based on campus position.
