Radiology/CT Technologist
Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center is a 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. The Radiology/ CT Technologist is responsible for interpreting doctors' orders; immobilize, instruct and position patients.

The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.

The Radiology/ CT Technologist is responsible for interpreting doctors' orders; immobilize, instruct and position patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer non-injectable contrast material
- Sets up and operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment
- Develops and review radiographs for quality and perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of AMA approved radiology school
- Must be licensed in N.Y. State and be ARRT and CPR certified
- 3-5 years' experience as a staff technologist
- Knowledge of multi-discipline areas
- Must be experienced in radiological techniques, patient positioning, radiation protection, fluoroscopic and intravenous examinations, tomography and special examinations
- Must obtain a minimum of 24 Category A continuing education credits every 2 years
- Excellent communication skills required.
- BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
