Job description: Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Textbook Warehouse Employee. The appointee will report directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning and will be responsible for duties and related responsibilities associated with the position. The person will work closely with staff and others, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid Texas driver's license
• Ability to move 40-pound boxes and other bulky materials
• Ability to endure summer heat and winter conditions while performing required tasks

Preference will be given to applicants who:

• are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in effectively managing and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory records.
• have warehouse experience or equivalent is desired. However, an ability to learn and a demonstration of accommodation and work ethic will be considered.
• demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
• have a service oriented personality

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administation may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary: Pay Grade 2 Auxiliary Camp Plan
