From checking freshness to stocking shelves and preparing food, this position plays a key role in helping customers access healthy, fresh, and delicious food options daily. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Food Worker: • Aid clients in locating and selecting fresh and packaged groceries. • Keep a supply of high-caliber goods in the produce, deli, bakery, meat, and dairy categories. • Manage shelf arrangements, rotate items, and monitor inventory to ensure freshness and display quality. • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations when preparing and serving ready-to-eat dishes. • Provide support for customer requests, such as customizing cake decorations or fulfilling unique deli orders. • Adhere to store standards by regularly cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing allocated workspaces.
