Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Food Preparation and Displays: Prepare Maverik's delicious recipes while ensuring displays are clean and ready for customer use. Cash Handling and Payment Processing: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently. Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning displays, and disposing of waste. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive store environment. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Age: Must be at least 16 years old. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Availability: Availability to work part-time and weekend shifts, including mornings. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or food preparation. Food Safety Certification: Food safety certification or willingness to obtain. Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Starting Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour. Food Fuel Benefits: Enjoy $.25 off/gallon, up to 40 gallons a week, and 50% off food and drink while on shift.
