To continue providing the highest level of quality work and customer service to our clients and referral partners, we’re looking to add an experienced administrator to join our defined contributions team! As a Retirement Plan Analyst for M2B, your responsibilities will include all aspects of plan administration for an assigned book of business. The caseload will be comprised of plans of various sizes and complexities but be commensurate based on experience. This position works as a member of a team with a dedicated Senior Consultant. Responsibilities: Review and scrub census data for accuracy and missing informationPerform all applicable compliance testing (including ADP, ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), top-heavy) and administer retirement plans in accordance with ERISAAddress testing issues and recommend possible plan design changesPrepare contribution projections, calculations, and non-discrimination testing – including allocation of employer contributions/forfeitures based on plan provisions and/or testing requirementsCalculate corrective distributions for testing failures, including associated earnings, along with Form 5330Calculate lost earnings on late deposits of 401(k) deferrals and/or loan repaymentsNavigate various recordkeeper website to access reports and review transactionsReconcile plan- and participant-level transactions on an accrued basisProduce valuation reports and review results for accuracy before passing to Management for final reviewPrepare IRS Form 5500 and related Schedules using appropriate Government Forms softwareSupport auditors for large plan audits by gathering requested reports and transaction detailUnderstand and interpret defined contribution plan documentsReview distribution and loan requests to determine if in good order or if additional information is neededResearch plan-related issues and corrective measuresWork directly with Senior Consultant and other team members on a daily basis to ensure timely completion of caseload Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, or related field preferredMinimum of two (2) years of experience in the retirement plan industryExperience in qualified defined contribution plan administration, including ERISA and IRS/DOL rules and regulationsASPPA credentials preferredKnowledge of Ft.
