About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our Government and Corporate Affairs team within the arenaflex family. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells air travel on arenaflex
- Prepares itineraries, computes fares, issues refunds, and prepares and issues tickets
- Answers inquiries regarding general travel information and resolves customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
- Communicates with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights
- Communicates new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer
What You'll Need for Success
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
- Knowledge of Native SABRE
- Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
- Satisfactory attendance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Knowledge of airline operations and policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
