About the position Responsibilities • Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care. • Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient needs. • Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources effectively. • Serves as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team. • Utilizes data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes. • Enhances customer satisfaction and employee morale in the nursing profession. • Performs other related duties as required. Requirements • Current RN License in the state of practice. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. • Must have computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information. • Proficient with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to the role. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Good organizational and time management skills. • Demonstrates good judgment and interpersonal skills.
