Responsibilities
- Acting as first point of contact for all incidents
- Conducting or assisting in annual safety audits
- Assisting in review and of policies and procedures
- Participating in toolbox meetings, joint health and safety committee meetings
- Supporting joint Health and Safety Committee members and Safety Captains in the execution of their tasks and ensuring all locations are complying
- Ensuring monthly activities, inspections, training, and other safety requirements are met in all branches
- Ensuring required first aid personnel is maintained within each location
- Participating in safety integrations of new acquisitions
- Completing all pre-qualification packages
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in safety administration or coordination
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively independently
