SAP Finance Consultant - Spear Staffing

Overview : Seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultan t to support a finance transformation at a global professional services firm. Focus areas include Universal Journal (UJ), Intercompany Matching & Reconciliation (ICMR), and Journal Entry (JE) workflows in S/4HANA. In Short : This role requires hands-on configuration experience, deep process knowledge, and the ability to work with finance stakeholders in a professional services environment (project-based revenue recognition, client billing, intercompany transactions, etc.). Key Responsibilities Lead workshops to assess and design SAP Finance processes. Configure Universal Journal (ACDOCA) for integrated reporting. Design and implement ICMR processes (data sources, rules, tolerances). Enhance JE workflows (controls, approvals, automation). Partner with finance leaders on close, consolidation, and compliance. Support testing and deployment with technical teams. Advise on best practices for project-based finance (billing, allocations, intercompany). Requirements 8+ years in SAP FI/CO; hands-on S/4HANA (UJ, ICMR, JE workflows). Experience in professional services (legal, consulting, IT, etc.). Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder communication skills. Ability to translate business needs into SAP configuration. Preferred Exposure to Group Reporting / Consolidation in S/4HANA. ICMR experience in Central Finance environments. Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Background in global finance transformation programs.
