Title: SAP SOM BRIM Consultant Location: Remote (Must be based in US) Duration: 16 months Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: W2 or C2C Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM SOM Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) within the SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) suite. This role plays a key part in managing end-to-end order lifecycle orchestration and integrating with FICA-CI and other BRIM components. Description Lead and support the implementation of SAP SOM for subscription-based products and services. Configure and manage product modeling, order decomposition, and orchestration logic. Capture and validate order management requirements with Sales, Product, and Finance teams. Ensure seamless integration with Convergent Mediation (CM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and FICA. Manage full order lifecycle (quote to activation) ensuring data accuracy and billing readiness. Collaborate with developers to build API-based integrations with upstream systems. Conduct fit-gap analysis, prepare functional specifications and system design documentation. Support testing of SOM scenarios: activation, suspension, product changes, cancellations, etc. Provide post-go-live support, resolve issues, and recommend system enhancements. Requirements: 7+ years of SAP BRIM experience, with 5+ years in SOM (Subscription Order Management). Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SOM data models, and order orchestration flows. Experience with SAP CC, CI/FICA, CM, and other BRIM components. Solid understanding of Master Data: Business Partner, Product Bundles, Technical Resources. Familiarity with SAP AIF, PO/PI, and REST/SOAP integration methods. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work in Agile or hybrid project environments. Industry experience in Telecom, Media, Utilities, or High-Tech. Exposure to CRM or e-commerce systems integrated with SAP SOM. SAP Certification in BRIM/SOM or S/4HANA is a plus.
