Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in a contract position within our school setting in the Yorkville, IL area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to communicate effectively and reach their full academic potential.
What You Will Do
Conduct thorough evaluations, interpret assessment results, and provide treatment approaches for various speech and language disorders.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA CCC
- ISBE PEL (professional educator license)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment approaches
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome communication challenges
