Seasonal Tax Expert (100% remote)

Job Summary Job Title: Tax Expert (Credentialed) Duration: 3 months Location: Remote Pay range: $42 - $43 Responsibilities • Provide exceptional customer support, video, phone, and chat) • Assisting customers with their tax returns. • Ability to navigate multiple software applications and job aids to research and provide guidance on complex tax questions and preparing tax returns. • Create an excellent customer experience using your tax experience and research capabilities. • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. • Responsible for documenting notes and interactions with customers. • Training will be provided • Roles Requires candidate to be on Camera with NO EXCEPTION • This role will also require Typing and Chat support on an as needed basis • Role will be held to meet multiple KPI standards on a weekly basis. You will be expected to maintain KPI standards to remain is good standing on your assignment • Average hours vary each week and can be from 2 to 25 hours during the Season an 30+ during April Peak Demand. • Hours are not guaranteed as they are demand generated and based on the Assessment Level you pass. • Overtime is currently not approved (daily or weekly). Overtime may be approved if there is an unexpected increase in demand Requirements: • Complete and pass a Full Service Glider Assessment (details below) • Active PTIN. • Active Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA. • 2+ years and at least 60 individual returns. • Experience with tax preparation software. • Technical Proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple application and systems. • Including but not limited to tax software, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel). • A dedicated workspace free from distraction with access to a hard-wired Ethernet connection • No Wi-Fi connection, Satellite or Wi-Fi Box connection permitted.
