Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant, CPA License Required to assist the Accounting Manager in overseeing the accounting department and ensuring smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will excel in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities while effectively managing complex accounting processes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Budgeting: Assist in developing and managing budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and internal controls. Process Management: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to manage their financial operations, providing insights and recommendations. Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth. Direct supervision of other accounting staff. System Oversight: Leverage accounting software and ERP systems to enhance efficiency. Collaboration: Partner with the tax team to align financials with tax planning strategies. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field; or 10 years of relevant experience. CPA certification. 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting and compliance. Technical Skills: Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, including QuickBooks Expertise in Excel. Leadership: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and lead. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
