This is a business critical role that requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative working style and the ability to execute with quality in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Our ideal Udacian has a bias for action, a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and can communicate complex information across all levels of the business. What You’ll Do • Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing • Oversee journal entries and general ledger reconciliations • Partner and collaborate with Procurement to implement a purchasing order system. • Assist with statutory reporting/annual reports and tax returns • Work with the External Auditors to ensure a clean and timely year end audit • Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls • Assist payroll filing, annual reports, and tax returns About You • Experience working in a growing fast paced environment, prior experience in SaaS is preferred • Degree in Accounting or similar is required • 5+ years of related accounting experience • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and NetSuite experience highly desired • Procurement system experience preferred Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
