About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and drive our accounting processes to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both large accounting firms and startup tech environments. As our Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making. • Work closely with the Head of Finance to develop financial forecasts and budgets. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings. • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations. Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required. • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of large accounting firm and startup tech company experience. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles. • Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. • Exceptional leadership and team management skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
