About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and drive our accounting processes to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both large accounting firms and startup tech environments. As our Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making. Work closely with the Head of Finance to develop financial forecasts and budgets. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required. 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of large accounting firm and startup tech company experience. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
