Position Purpose: This role will support the Availity enterprise strategy by coordinating initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and translating strategic priorities into execution. Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to evaluate and optimize the Availity portfolio’s capabilities by quantifying performance and business value, identifying root causes and refinement opportunities, and implementing standard work, KPIs, and control plans to sustain quality and results.
Lead strategic initiatives that enhance integration, utilization, and optimization of Availity capabilities across the enterprise.
Identify, develop, and execute process improvement opportunities utilizing continuous improvement principles and LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies.
Drive adoption of solutions that improve efficiency, provider experience, and operational outcomes across multiple business functions.
Prioritize and lead process improvement activities across the enterprise in support of all departments and functional areas.
Monitor process improvement projects and facilitate cross functional process improvement project teams ensuring deadlines and objective are met and return on investment is realized.
Consult with senior leadership and provide analysis and advice on a variety of performance and process related topics.
Provide training and guidance to project teams and functional areas to assist with the implementation and maintenance of process improvement activities.
Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, mitigate risks, resolve issues and provide key performance indicators and project status.
Identify, communicate, and correct gaps in process performance and provide guidance to address these gaps.
Evaluate completed process improvement projects to identify and implement best practices and lessons learned.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. MBA or MHA preferred. 6+ years of LEAN, Six Sigma or related process improvement experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design, statistical applications and project management software.
Highly Preferred Experience:
Leading enterprise process improvement initiatives involving Availity platforms, provider engagement solutions, healthcare transactions, or payer-provider connectivity processes.
Experience evaluating and optimizing end-to-end workflows associated with claims, authorizations, eligibility, provider data exchange, or other healthcare administrative functions supported by Availity solutions.
Licenses/Certifications: LEAN/Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred.
Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
