Job Title: Senior Business System Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA Employment Type: W2 Experience Required: 12+ years Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Business System Analyst with 12+ years of proven expertise in analyzing complex business processes, defining system requirements, and driving enterprise-wide technology solutions. The ideal candidate will partner with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to translate strategic business needs into scalable and sustainable system solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead requirement gathering sessions with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to understand and document business needs. Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Define, design, and implement system solutions, integrating business and technical perspectives. Develop detailed functional specifications, data flows, process diagrams, and use cases to guide development and testing efforts. Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure system solutions meet requirements, quality standards, and compliance needs. Drive cross-departmental communication and ensure timely resolution of issues and dependencies. Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), training initiatives, and post-implementation reviews to ensure business readiness and adoption. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and team members. Support regulatory compliance, data governance, and information security initiatives as needed. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline. 12+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, Systems Consultant, or similar role in enterprise environments. Proven experience working with large-scale, complex systems and multi-stakeholder projects. Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Expertise in requirement elicitation, documentation, and process improvement frameworks. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, or equivalent. Ability to influence decisions, build consensus, and manage conflicts. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value. Preferred Skills: Experience in CRM, ERP, data platforms, or cloud-based solutions. Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is a plus. Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, or visualization tools. Background in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, insurance, etc.).
