Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute data analysis projects related to various data sets used for data/text mining and analysis to enable informed business decisions.
- Gain insights into key business issues and expectations by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources.
- Develop solutions from initial concept to production, communicating results to a wide range of audiences effectively.
- Utilize current and emerging technologies to assess trends and develop meaningful insights and recommendations to management, leveraging an understanding of the business model and available data for analysis.
- Regularly use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making.
- Guide junior staff members and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and projects, presenting to management as required.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A four-year degree in data systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or Finance.
- A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics.
- Proficiency in analysis software and applications.
- Excellent relational, written, and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are considered a plus:
- Experience or coursework with SAFE Spry.
- Experience with requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; numerical analysis; categorical data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Stage, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and fundamental accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in analysis programming and applications.
- Strong relational, written, and oral communication skills.
