Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize autonomous judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best approach to achieving work.
- Collect and analyze large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.
- Identify, plan, and implement internal process improvements, including re-designing systems for greater flexibility, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
- Design and implement required systems for timely extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies.
- Develop analytical tools to leverage the data pipeline, providing meaningful insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with partners, including data, design, product, and leadership teams, to help them with data-related technical issues.
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Managers.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, practices, and technologies, including AWS, SQL, and data pipeline design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and AWS Glue.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles and practices.
