Senior IT Project Manager Duration: (Contract, Remote till Dec 2026) Rate - $65/hr W2 or $70-75/h on c2c Position Overview We are looking for a Contract Senior IT Project Manager to lead and motivate teams in managing day-to-day IT projects. The role involves working with Commercial, Technical Operations, Clinical business functions, and IT teams to deliver business-critical systems with a significant focus on product launches that support organizational growth. You will lead multiple concurrent projects at different lifecycle phases, ensuring successful delivery while collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders across global locations. This role also requires managing dependencies, tracking risks, and reporting at a program level to leadership. Strong communication skills are essential to work effectively with both technical and business partners. Key Responsibilities Manage IT projects through the full delivery lifecycle (Pre-project Sustain), focusing on Salesforce.com-based solutions. Develop and maintain detailed project plans (timelines, milestones, resource allocations, dependencies). Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, including vendors and delivery partners. Monitor progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Manage budgets, forecasts, and project costs while aligning with Finance and PMO standards. Ensure clear, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, including executives and vendors across time zones. Run governance processes (steering committees, status reviews, stand-ups). Maintain high-quality project documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Basic Qualifications Experience: Bachelor s Degree with 8+ years OR Master s Degree with 6+ years of IT Project Management experience. Proven track record in delivering complex, cross-functional programs across global teams and vendors. Strong understanding of project lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and metric development skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working with senior executives. Ability to take ownership and drive projects with accountability. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce.com projects. Experience delivering GxP-compliant projects and systems. Background in the life sciences industry. PMP certification.
