Senior Level Accountant

We are a growing small business accounting and fractional CFO firm located in Denver, Colorado. We service a wide range of different types of small businesses across multiple industries. We manage the entire bookkeeping process for our clients including payroll, payroll taxes, sales tax, and financial statements. We prepare and deliver tax ready books at year-end. Our accounting and bookkeeping firm is looking to bring on a high level full-charge Sr. level accountant. This individual will assist the owner in reviewing staff bookkeeper work, preparing journal entries, performing full month end closes including reviewing client financial statements, perform sales tax filings and assisting the CFO with high level accounting project for clients. You must be a Senior level accountant with the ability to review and correct financial statements as needed, including doing a full month end close. You must have experience with Quickbooks Online. This is a 1099 contractor part-time to full time position with the ability to build your hours and client portfolio with time and as you prove yourself. We need someone who is able to commit to 20+ hours per week. This is a remote position, so the candidate will need the ability to self-manage and have a fully functional home office. Other requirements include: 1. 7+ years full charge Bookkeeping experience 2. 5+years senior level accountant experience 3. QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified required 4. Excellent prior working references 5. The ability to respond to and address client concerns and matters quickly and efficiently via email. 6. The ability to meet deadlines on time all the time 7. Available time during business working hours as needed 8. Accounting degree or certification preferred 9.
