The Senior Android Developer plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications that deliver a seamless streaming experience to users. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and backend engineers—to implement new features, improve performance, and ensure app stability across a wide range of devices. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile development, has a strong grasp of Android best practices, and is committed to delivering high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced, media-focused environment.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
Integrate streaming media solutions to ensure smooth and high-performance video playback.
Implement and manage advertising SDKs and other third-party integrations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including iOS, backend, product, and QA, to deliver robust and scalable features.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and the continuous improvement of development practices and standards.
4+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
Proven experience integrating streaming media solutions such as ExoPlayer or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
Familiarity with ad network SDKs like AdMob, MoPub, or comparable platforms.
Solid understanding of integrating third-party SDKs and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or similar.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams.
