Role Description The Senior Mortgage Banker is a full-time, remote/on-site role based in Addison, TX. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, meeting with prospective borrowers, assessing their financial profiles, and recommending appropriate mortgage products. Daily responsibilities include managing a pipeline of applications, collecting and verifying documentation, coordinating with underwriters, processors, and closing agents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. The Senior Mortgage Banker will build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals and other referral sources, provide clear and timely communication to clients, and work toward individual and team production goals. This role requires consistent on-site collaboration with colleagues and engagement with local market opportunities. Qualifications • Strong expertise in Mortgage Lending, with demonstrated experience originating and managing residential mortgage files. • In-depth knowledge of Mortgages and Residential Mortgages, including conventional, FHA, VA, and other common loan products. • Solid understanding of Loans and Finance principles, such as credit analysis, debt-to-income ratios, and interest rate structures. • Proven ability to build and manage a referral network and maintain long-term client relationships. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously. • Experience working with mortgage origination systems and basic office software tools. • Relevant state mortgage loan originator license and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. • Several years of experience in residential mortgage banking or lending; leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
