Senior Operations & Listing Optimization VA (Short-Term Rentals – Expert Level Only)

I am looking for an exceptionally strong Virtual Assistant with deep experience in short-term rental platforms and property management systems. This is not a basic admin role. I need someone who is proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying problems and improving systems without being micromanaged. If you wait for step-by-step instructions, this is not the role for you. What This Role Requires You must be: • Extremely familiar with Airbnb, Booking.com, channel managers, pricing tools, and property management systems • Able to independently audit listings for optimization and accuracy • Able to check integrations (rates, calendars, fees, taxes) and ensure everything syncs correctly • Proactive in identifying errors or opportunities for improvement • Comfortable improving listing copy and presentation • Strong at quality control and systems thinking I need someone who sees how all the parts connect — pricing, calendar sync, automation messages, taxes, fees, payment systems — and checks that everything is working correctly. What This Role is NOT • Doing the bare minimum • Only completing exactly what’s asked • Not noticing obvious issues • Not asking smart follow-up questions • Waiting for live calls to move forward • Not double-checking your own work I need someone who is awake, paying attention, and thinking. How You’ll Work • I often communicate via audio messages. • You must be able to listen, understand, extract action steps, and execute independently. • You should be able to take initiative and run with a task. • You should propose improvements — not just complete assignments. You should not need constant hand-holding. Responsibilities May Include • Listing optimization (titles, descriptions, structure) • Pricing audits and calendar audits • Checking channel manager connections • Quality control of booking flows • Reviewing tax settings and fee structures • Improving guest messaging automations • Identifying inefficiencies in systems Interview Process If shortlisted, you will be asked to: • Review one of our listings • Identify optimization opportunities • Explain what you would check in the backend • Show how you approach problem solving I am specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate depth of thinking.
